Scope
Workshop summary
An overview of Turnitin, with a focus on setting up assessments, and retrieving marks.

This two hour session will focus on:
• Brief overview of Turnitin.
• What Turnitin can do; What it’s not so good at.
• How to set up assignments
• What information you need to get from the academics
• How to deal with multiple markers.
• Retrieving grades
• Archiving marked work.
• A brief look at what the markers.

We intend to allow staff time to discuss workflows within their own disciplines/schools, as there are many different approaches.

Aims and Objectives
• To know the file types that students can upload.
• To know how to set up assignments, across a range of different settings.
• To how to extract the required data.
• To know where to locate resources for further information as required.
