Scope |
Workshop summary An overview of Turnitin, with a focus on setting up assessments, and retrieving marks.
This two hour session will focus on: Brief overview of Turnitin. What Turnitin can do; What its not so good at. How to set up assignments What information you need to get from the academics How to deal with multiple markers. Retrieving grades Archiving marked work. A brief look at what the markers.
We intend to allow staff time to discuss workflows within their own disciplines/schools, as there are many different approaches.
Aims and Objectives To know the file types that students can upload. To know how to set up assignments, across a range of different settings. To how to extract the required data. To know where to locate resources for further information as required.

On-the-Day Details Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of the workshop, to allow the facilitator to distribute materials.
