Scope |
Workshop summary An opportunity to find out more information about mindfulness and to try it out for yourself. We work in a busy environment and live fast –paced lives and which can result in us feeling stressed and overhelmed as a result, mindfulness is an anti-dote for this. Clinical studies have documented both physical and mental benefits of mindfulness in different patient categories as well as in healthy adults and children. It is a great tool to have to enhance your health and well-being.
Aims and Objectives 1. Information about: • What is mindfulness • History of its development • How we know it works 2. Opportunity to experience some mindfulness practices 3. Examples of ways to introduce mindfulness in everyday life.
Pre-session Requirements None.
